I don't feel like sorting through pictures, but the last couple of weeks have been interesting. We had a DIY Beer Tasting, Warren introduced us to 5/6 Hour Energy, got Ben and Alyssa Speights at the only bar in America that sells it, revisited the Patriot Saloon (and the 24 hr Taco Bell in Penn Station), Had a shockingly calm, nice and thankfully long weekend with my family, we sent ouf the Save the Dates for the big day, met with the probable photographer for said day, Ben and I went to visit his family in Pennsylvania, chose the first dress that I tried on with Step and Francesca (in the only store in Massachusetts that had one) and rewarded their valiance at the
Running of the Brides with delicious Japanese Steakhouse, Indie came down for a visit which included the largest group and tab at the Avenue that I've ever encountered and we bought Lego Star Wars which is currently eating our lives.
This week went from awful to awesome in a matter of hours on Wednesday. Monday I stayed home sick sleeping, making snot wontons and playing Star Wars. I got an email that morning that my gym hadn't been charging me for the last oooh year and a half and they wanted to reconcile the debt. I spent Monday and Tuesday avoiding them and on Wednesday they agreed to eat half the balance. I also called
Burton's Bridals on Katie's suggestion and they have the dress I love for significantly less than the place up here quoted me. I managed to save myself something like $500 in one day, sweet. Then when we got home there were letters from the Nielsen people on the front door, Step called them and yesterday we had an appt with one of their reps. Our viewing choices are going to start mattering on the 27th! Even more reason to watch tv with us.
We're finally getting going with all this Wedding planning stuff. Our guest list has been parred down significantly since we're trying to stay at about 100 people, and our families make up about 50% of that. We decided not to invite guests (unless married or engaged) which is a little bit awkward, but we'd rather have more friends there. Ah well. If you did get the save the date, I hope you realize it's a magnet and that you should go to the url on it.
Phew, I'll post pictures and all that good stuff later.
